FPV, or First Person View, means that the pilot uses a camera mounted on the drone to give them a view as if they were sitting in it.

The signal from the camera is sent using a 5.8GHz transmitter and is received by the goggles worn by the pilot. Inside the goggles is a full-colour LCD screen enabling the pilot to see the world from the perspective of the drone they are flying.
